Maria - Office Manager

I grew up in southeastern Alaska and then Port Townsend, WA. I’m happily married and a proud mother of two children. I’m honored to have been working at Hadlock Dental Center…Go to our homepage for more information… for more than 33 years, and I am deeply grateful to be surrounded by so many wonderful people.

At the age of 16, I had my first experience in the dental world working in a periodontics/orthodontics office. I was fascinated because I truly enjoyed helping people. Nowadays, being a dental office manager has allowed me to do so in a gratifying way.

Interesting Fact:

My spirit animal is a ladybug. I feel they bring good luck.

Shannon - Hygiene Coordinator

I’ve lived in Washington State my whole life, and I’m happy to call the Peninsula my home. After spending many years in the medical field, I decided to make a change and immerse myself in dentistry. I never realized how different it would be, but I couldn’t be happier!

My lighthearted, compassionate personality allows me to connect with our patients in a personal way. The best part of my job is interacting with them and knowing I’m helping my community receive excellent dental care.

Interesting Fact:

When I’m not in the office, I enjoy spending time with my family. I like to go fishing, hiking, camping, or biking.

Jami - Dental Hygienist

I am originally from Kansas but now live in Washington State. As a kid, I fell in love with dentistry, and it remains my major passion!

I was drawn to this field because of the real changes I can make in a person’s life. I not only get to educate them about oral health or help them fight gum disease, but I can also make them smile with confidence.

I pride myself on being a great listener, and I want all of my patients to feel comfortable every time they come for an appointment.

Interesting Fact:

My grandmother is my hero. I look to her for strength when times are rough.

I grew up in Kingston, and have two beautiful dogs, McKinley and Dung. I chose dentistry because it combined my two favorite things, helping people and working in healthcare.

I decided to go to hygiene school in Flagstaff, AZ, and I worked in the Navajo reservation as a hygienist for more than six years. Now, I have made Hadlock Dental Center…Learn more about our office… my new home!

I have a friendly personality, and I’ll always go above and beyond to make my patients feel welcomed at our practice.

Interesting Fact:

My spirit animal is my dog, McKinley. We’re always up for an adventure and love a good Mexican dish.

Born and raised in Washington, I’m married with a dog and a cat. I first became interested in dentistry after having orthognathic (jaw corrective) surgery.

Today, more than 14 years later, I’m still as fascinated as when I first started.

Interesting Fact:

I love animals and one day I hope to spend time rescuing older dogs.
